The JR batteries that I got with my JR Radios all went bad, sooner then they should ....so they went in trash can[:-]

Hangtime hobbies NoBS batteries. Get NiMH 1600, and you can fly all day, and still use your supplied charger. Easy to solder in and install into the cassette. They give excellent instructions, and work well. Scott
