Can a carbon fiber prop be drilled twice
Just Out of general curiosity, I am breaking in my Da-50 with a 22 x 8 wooden prop. I noticed the end started to splinter. So I have to throw it away. I have another carbon fiber prop that size that I used to break in another engine. Here is the dumb part. The holes, I did not drill the same on my different carbonfiber spinners. So the prop bolt holes do not line up to attach the spinner cone. So can I SAFETLY redrill this one providing there is space between the holes. Thanks, Brenden

RE: Can a carbon fiber prop be drilled twice
I have done it no problem, just make sure you have what you think is adequate spacing of the bolts. Also, make sure the hub is all carbon, and not wood laminated carbon like a couple of the carbon props are. If its a mejzlik, bolly, fuchs, etc, you will be ok
