Default Savage engine

I was thinking of buying either a sts .28 or a Sh .28 for my savage x which engine would be better for reliability and which for power.

Wonder how many of the same topic just on this page at least two I know of. Did you try a search? STS is a good engine but the SH which makes XTM engines and others is better. When and if I replace my K4.6, which right now is screaming on the track, I will get an engine made by SH.

I never had an SH motor. But I do have an STS .28 with 5 gallons on it. It holds a tune very well, fires right up, and has more than enough power to pull the wheels up in second gear. I am very pleased with my STS.

SH's engines have always treated me better than an ugly girlfriend.

Mach 28, LRP 28, XTM 4.57, go with any of them, crap your pants at the power, and get pissed because you can't keep the front wheels on the ground

reminds me of the sticker on the back of my buddy's F250...

"Lift it, cuz fat chicks can't climb!"

and on the sticker front...I'm thinkin about getting a bumper sticker made that says "My other car is a Savage"

i think i might get the sh .28 prospec but i don't know where the best place to buy one would be....any suggestions

would this be good or would coming from here make it worse quality because i heard that the sts is better quality coming from dadders than hong kong.

Haha thats a good one but still if u hook up a wagon to your savage you could go around town and pick up some chicks but they will have to be skinny in order for that poor little engine to pull it

the STS comes from Hong Kong as well.

the SH engine is great, but for the shipping prices they're offering you're better off dropping an extra $20 on an XTM .457. same engine, and you get a warranty with the XTM.
