The hubs of my wheels keep rounding out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have an Associated RC10 T4, and somehow, I keep rounding out the hubs Of the rear wheels!
The axle pins will round out the area with the notches where they sit, due to what looks to be excess torque between the wheel and the axle.
I have an idea to what might be causing this, when I am tightening the bolts to secure the rear wheels, I am holding the wheel to keep it from turning, and the torque from me tightening the bolt is causing the axle pin to turn, and round out the wheel hub.
But I am not totally sure. This is the third time it happened.
I thought I had made a quick fix of it by tightening it extra tight to keep it from rotating, but the radial ribs on the inside of the wheel have been warped from the torque, this in turn, has thrown the hub off center making the wheel wobble.
If anybody has any suggestions on how to keep this from happening, or if you know of any better wheels that fit the T4, please let me know.

I also have a t4 and I have never had this problem. The wheels that come with the truck are pro-line velocity wheels they are good wheels. I suggest just taking your time to line up the pin a little better before tightening all the way down.

try replacing your wheel nuts. Over time, the nylon insert breaks down and becomes in-effective. Thus allowing them to loosen.
