TETHERITE gear can be purchased from www.ohiomodelplanes.com. I have them on my EF Edge 540 and they work perfect. They cannot bend and are almost impossible to break!! You will not go wrong with these gear!

Shows real ignorance to bad mouth a product because
of the way it looks..
I have TETHERITE gears on TWO 80 inch OMP profiles
and LOVE them..
I have also used the black Goldberg profile gears on my
smaller profiles and they are light and very strong...

Im going off of the fact that every other thing I have owned from CG has been a peice of *#^!, and why would I pay more for the CG garbage than the tetherites when I know that they work!? You can have CG all to yourself, my ignorance and I will go with the tetherites any day! Thanks!

I too wouldn't spend the money to experiment on such a product, I'd go Tetherites or custom bent aluminum from a local metal shop.
When a company has a second rate profile for sale, I can't say it's ignorant to think their profile accessories are also second rate.

You are NOT experimenting with a product when at least (I) have tried them
and they work fine...( is this NOT what this forum is about? )
GRANTED their planes are heavy and do not fly 3D well but I will give them a chance
to improve...
NO company or person is perfect and WE ALL can at times use some improvement...
