40 series
I was thinking about putting a set of 40 series wheels and Big Joe tires on my 3.3 revo, but how much power would I lose? Would I have to change the gearing? Anything else I might have to change?

first thing make sure you go 23mm hex second you will lose a little acceleration but gain top speed
to get the acceleration back get a smaller spur gear i believe

RE: 40 series
you would need to get a larger spur gear with more teeth to increase acceleration
smaller teeth on the clutch bell would be more acceleration if the spur gear isnt enough
