Engine thrust on Profile type fun-fly planes
Am close to finishing the profile Seduction Fun-Fly with OS 46 FX engine.
Before I drill out the engine mounting holes, I would like to know that for best set-up for hovering and other 3D stuff on these profile planes with fully symmetrical wings, is there any engine down or right thrust required. Need info especially on downthrust. I'm sure the millions of fliers with Morris profile planes would be able to help on this.
On the profile types with side mounted engines, right thrust is easy to put in but once the holes are drilled putting down thrust wouldn't be that easy.
Happy landings
Cheers!!

Thrust angles
0 up or down , 2 1/2 right has worked well for me with 4 stroke engines swinging big props . I'd expect less side thrust would be needed with a 2 stroke .
Have fun
