Is that gas planes or boats? That ratio in a boat is far too lean for a marine engine, and boats need an oil that can tolerate wet conditions, such as Castrol A747. That oil has no mention of wet conditions.

castrol A747 works fine for all my zenoahs in boats and 1/4 scale cars.
running at 55mls / for 1 lt of fuel. but i dont mix more up then what i use in one day keep it fresh..
i like it runns great at that never cooked ennything or ever had starting problems...

For many years I have been using Amsoil Dominator at 40:1 in all of my gassers. Amsoil produces a lot of black mess out of the exhaust and carbon in the combustion chamber. About 6 months ago I started using Quicksilver at 40:1. The black mess is virtually gone and the engines run fine on it.
