Default 3epower batteries

just wondering if anyone here has ever used the 3epower batteries off of ebay. i ordered a set of 4-3800mah the other day. i know they arent high quality packs but at $60 for 4, that comes out to $15/ea they are worth a shot.

yeah well, if nobody else here has tried them, ill try to provide as much info as i can. ill be running them in my rustler with masher 2k's and my t4; both trucks are powered by brushed motors or by my mm5700. ill also be trying them in my wheely king crawler and possibly in the emaxx and in the ez-start in the revo. it should be a wide variety of conditions to put the batteries through their paces and draw a good conclusion. They may be decent. the 14 guage wires look promising, alot of name brands use 16 guage for mid-capacity batts. The weight is what i usually look at, these weigh 13 oz. according to the listing, which is on par with around a 3000 mah name brand. charge em up real good, and run em down...........then let us know how much you put back in. Seems like you really cant go wrong for $15 each.

thats what i thought. even if they arent comparable to name brand cells, for only $15/ea, they are worth it even if they are just "decent"

Any details on the performance yet?

Also, you can always just rebuild the packs yourself for more efficiency.

well, the first battery gave me about 10 minuted of hard "on the gas/on the brake" runtime. it peaked around 2800mah which i figured after a few cycles should go up. i was using it in my rustler with masher 2k's and mamba 5700. speed and acceleration was very good. again im sure after a few cycles, the results will improve.

second battery just peaked at 1444mah

well, i ran through the other 3 batteries. all had decent power but they dropped off kinda quickly but they all only peaked at around 1500mah. i also recarged the first pack(i numbered them so i can keep a rotation going so every pack gets used equally) and it went from peaking at 2800 to 3700 which is almost a full charge. i wont be running it until tomorrow so ill update its performance tomorrow. ive also got the crawler going now so ill see how it does. i ran it with pack 4 tonight and it did good but it too dropped off quickly. one issue with the crawler it that i have it geared kinda high.
