Default Help - BVM F-16 servos

I'm building a new (from the box) BVM F-16 and I would like some input for servo selection.

BV recommended the JR 4031 for the stabs and JR 9021's for the aileron/flaperon but those servo's are no longer made. What current JR servos would one use?

My LHS has a REALLY good deal on some JR 8311's, would they work? Any other suggestions? Will be EVF powered.

Yep 8311 would be fine for the old 4 series servos (much better as always with Digitals) . The 9021 would be 9411 or 9401 option

I would use DS 9411 through out the plane, just a little less weight and they are a little better fit for the plane.

I had one flying on the original Viofan, I beleive it had some very old low-torque, high speed JR servos. I think any new digital standard size servo should do.

you also might want to move the servos a little closer to the control surfaces. It will really move with the EVF.

As Greg stated 9411's would be great choices. You could even go with 3421's on the flaperons without an issue to save a bit more weight and room. I would not go smaller than the 9411 on the stabs.

Man, still have one of these in the box. Not sure what to do with it. Maybe I'll get it out one day.
