OK this is what like to know i have a super kaos plane as we all know anyone whom has one or know of t hem are fine planes. This is a kit and well never had retractalbe landing gear in a pplane before and want to giver this a try. This plane is not set up or designn with that in mind. So how do i incorparatee retractable landing gear in the wing suitable for tail drager. ONly think i know of tail dragers is that i like t hem and center of wheel needs to line up with leading edge of plane in order to have smoth runing down runway from past exsperince. I never build a plane for retracts never purchase one with them either will all be new exsperiences for me but think this supper kaos will look sweet as a tail trager and with retractable landing gear and people will be looking at ti like what kind of plane is that. I am sure want to use a air system of some kind so. am thinkin tyop for a texan t-6 be suitable. What you all think or oppinions on this?

oK nEED SOME INFO GUYS. i AM BUILDING A tOWER HOBBIES KAOS 40 FROM A KIT NOT A ARF A OLD KIT THE OLD MAN USE TO HAVE AND HAD GIVEN ME. i WOULD LIKE TO INSTALL AIR OPERATED RETRACTABLE LANDING GEAR AS A TAIL DRAGER. i NEVER HAD BUILD A PLANE WITH RETRACTS OR PURCHASE ONE WITH THEM PREINSTALLED NEVER EVEN FLEW ONE WITH RETRACTS BUT WELL FIRST TIME FOR EVERYTHING. i ALLWAY'S ENJOY TAIL DRAGERS AND THNK THIS BRID WILL LOOK SWEEK THINKING USING A TEXAN T-6 SET UP. WHAT I NEED TO KOW TO BUILD THE WHEEL WELL IN THE PLANE? i AM THINKIN WLLL NEED TO REPLACE SPAR'S WITH HARD WOOD STICKS AS TO THE BALSA. ABOUT ALL I AM FAIRLY SURE OF. There are multiple build threads in the kit building forums that have pictures and examples of building retracts into a wing.

There is a good example in the Ultra Sport builds.. Do a search, and some reading.. good discussions.
