ORIGINAL: seanreit

It was on "backorder" whatever that means.

Backorder means that they are out of stock and are awaiting the new shipment!

Sean, now that you got your travel case.......Fresno Jets at the end of September?

That there is an idea, I could collect it at Superman. Where does southwest fly into close? Oakland or San Jose?

Sean
I have the BV pipe, and the one you have is the same. they used to make pipes for BV. I just ordered the go fly, not wanting to mess with building one.
I have the Tams tailcone and it was a biatch to install and it fit over perfect. Im running the 120 bypass, and tailpipe.

I will take you up on the ride. The SuperB should be RTF by Sept 8 in paint. It's running a few weeks behind initial of being ready for Lubbock. I'll keep you posted as we get closer to fun time. Maybe someone there will let me in on what the hell "duk duk" is.

DUK DUK is Doug Anderson from southern California.
When we are at a Jet show and Tam is trying to get Doug's attention....all you hear is "DUK DUK DUK"

Here is a picture for referance, Duk is on the right!

Thanks Richard. I've had the engine now since April and I've really been looking forward to sharing what I've been seeing albeit in bits and pieces. I had a bunch of flame outs at Dallas Jet Rally with no real reason at the time for why they were happening. At first the thought was that the acceleration was too agressive, then found that the fuel tubes were just too close to the chamber wall. Once that issue was gone, the real power force came alive. The kingcat is a great airplane to test engines on. Out of maybe 15 flame outs, only one landing was agressively achieved, the others were all no brainers. Never really a scratch on the airplane.

I'm now convinced I've got one of the more powerful engines available to us. That airplane is smoking at 199.99, at least I'm relatively certain it's going that fast. Anyways, I just wanted to share the acceleration cause in person it is unbelievable, and I havn't really seen a video yet that was to show off engine performance (accept for that P-160 powered Hotspot about a year ago, but you couldn't really tell what he was gonna be doing with that flight, it was all over the place).

Anyways, hope to fly with you guys in Mexico someday, I took 5 trips to Central Mexico over the last three years, I really enjoy spending time down there.

Take care,

Sean
