Default Tamiya F102, F103, F104 questions

Looking into picking up an on road car, I've looked at affordable used touring/pan cars and have kind found some intrest in the Tamiya F1's, such as the F102, F103, and the newer F104. There seems to be alot of the F103 around, So far I have figured out that the "GT" is set up for 190mm touring car bodies. What is the difference between the F103, F103RX and F103RM? This is going to be just for fun There is no clubs that race these locally. Any advantages to the F104?

the F103 RX is quite old, the F103 RM is still in production and i dont think they differ much (if at all) from the F103.

the F104 is bang up to date, but some say it lacks a little ability of the F103, there is a thread dedicated to the Tamiya F1's.

Ok, I just recieved my used F103 rm yesterday... The car is a train wreck. Its is not even close to how it was described, In this condition I way over paid for it... Now its a debate on to buy a new one from Ebay, or restore this one. At this point I will need a main chassis, servo mount, friction dampener(post, springs and plates), body, and wings.Doe sanyone have any of these parts used they are willing to sell?
