Default Tamiya M1a2 Abrams

I recently built the tamiya M1a2 Abrams full option kit and when I did my trial run the tank doesn’t steer . Anyone have an idea of the cause of this issue ?

Most likely it is a radio/receiver set up issue. What radio are you using and did you plug the channel from the MFU into the receiver in a different order then what the manual says to do? (Not an issues to do this you just have to find the correct channel slots on the receiver.

Also so if you post this question in the main tank thread section you will get more responses.

I had issues with mine and it was at first some assembly issues inside the gear box. I took it all apart and reassembled it with plenty of grease and I got some movement. Then I realized I had some cracked teeth on the original vinyl gears for the steering motor. I happened to come across some DKLM upgrade gears and now it turns really well but makes lots of clicking noises... Our club has a half dozen or so vehicles with the Leopard/Abrams/Type 10 gear box and mine is the only one with the issues I'm having. Start by a deliberate breakdown and reassembly.
