Default Whose Incidence Meter to Get?

I need to get an incidence meter to check my big bird. the only two I have seen are made by Robart and Great Plains. Does anyone have any idea if it matters whcih one I get or have another recommendation. I'm looking for something to do the job without spending a fortune.

I have the Robart one and find it easy to use also does the job very well. I don't know about the GP.

I made my own. $5. Works as good as my robarts. See attached picture. Pretty simple and scalable.

I have used both. Havent used the GP laser since I got the Robart. You can get a longer connecting rod at the local hardware, Aluminum bar stock with same dimentsions, cut to your length.

I use the Smart tool combined with a piece of aluminum bar stock and the plastic ends from a Robart meter.

Absolutely agree with the Smart tool Level. I can't imagine life without it. I can set the incedence with the surface in the shucks. I use the Robarts also. I check the surface in the shuck then mount it. The Smart Level also allows you to just use the plane as it sits. You don't have to level the bird. Just match the reading.

I've always used Robarts and they have never let me down.

The batteries never go dead,either.
