Can't be done legally. In addition you need realflight's interface. I had a couple of other simulators interface cords and out of interest I tried to see if they would work. No such luck, you have to use the one with realflight.

The controller that comes with G2 is matched to the software license. If you were able to download it, it still would not work unless the software was hacked. The hardware is basically a 'key' to use the program.

go to www.limewire.com limewire is an excellent peer 2 peer network where you can search for and download just about ANY peice of software made. You can also find videos, movies, mp3's, etc. you will be able to find realflight on it and also maost of the addons.

RealFlight G2 won't run without the USB controller. I have a licensed copy, and I can't even run the program without the controller plugged into a USB port! First thing the sim does is look for the controller, and if it's not plugged in, it quits out on you . This isn't a problem to me, because you need the USB controller to do anything in the sim anyway!

The sim is well worth the $$. It will save you from several crashes and more than pay for itself! Not to mention the money you'll save on nitro by practicing on the sim.

You can probably download or copy some the mentioned software, but to play with, you need there interlink transmitter that is linked to the computer. On this interlink there is the serial number. Also you need to register before you can start en there you need again the interlink serial number. Clever Guy's at Real Flight. Althrougt this is the correct way.

As for the program, dont have it, as for using it without the controller... Jepp its possible, but You need to get the "modified" software..
I would suppose You'd get it with limewire oDC or DC++ (or similare)

Have testet it a long time ago WITHOUT the org. controller, but havent got the software...sorry...

now there is some usefull information, but don't worry, I'm already downloaduing realflight from limewire (got DC++ as well, but didn't find it) and for the 'modified' version, there are enough cracks out there (also on limewire [])

and just what the heck do you guys expect to do with this without the controller? Learn to fly with a joystick? Ya, that'll help you in the real world, sure. Might as well just go ahead and snag MS Flight Sim instead.

you dont want the interlink version you need the rfg2 delux to work with other controllers

ppjoy is the key though it creats a pc controller using your transmitter through the built or purchased interface
mapping the whole x y z rotation thing is quite daunting and confusing but worth the stuffing around to get right

also if you have a ps2 controller adapter to pc(usb i think) then you can use ppjoy and a digital (two black stick) ps2 controller
to learn if you dont have a tx with trainer outlet ,,the onley down side is the throtle stick is centered so if your learning it might be a hand full
but if your 3d then it wont be so bad (so im told anyway) SO YESSSSS YOU CAN USE A JOY STICK
AS I SAID TO YOU ALL ONLEY DOWNLOAD THE RFG2 DELUX "NON INTERLINK VERSION"
burn back to cd with alchole 120% in safedisk 2 mode or im told you can "mount" the image (.bin.cue.mcd.iso file)
in an virtual drive you creat with alchole120% and install it from there
dont forget to turn off internet look up and install transmitter interface
then down load the rfg2 fix for nvida cards if you have a white screen when you get it going
then download the update 5 3 3 or 5 3 8 i think it is and stay there do not go any later

dont ask me how i know all this cause you dident hear it from me

it is not in limewire i have already looked.

and you do not need the controller duh thats what the crack is for
jus get any one once the crack is in.

maybe if someone has the softwere (i know u do lol) maybe you could kindly make it public

(basicly put ALL the data off the CD into a zipped folder )

All the power to you guys but the crack is not in the software, it is in the controller. The software only talks to it's interface so you would have to clone their controller, find and download the programming for the bios of the controller. Real flight itself does not inderstand the analog signals that come straight from the radio tx. FMS controllers and the others you can find on the net don't work. But knock yourselves out trying...
