Default CMPro Giles 202 60-90 ARF

Hello,

This winter"s first project has already been finished. It is a CMPro Giles G202 60 size ARF kit. I have used 91. 2 stroke O.S. engine, CF landing gears and CF tube instead of stock ones. It weights just 3,5 kg ( 7,7 lbs). I have to wait very long before the first flight thou...

Anyone has any ideas how it flies?... I can guess that it is not a 3D animal... The quality of the kit is not bad but the instruction sheet is not updated. and the stock carbon landing gear is too big and heavy ( it is actually heavier than equal size alu. gear).

Next project will be an ARC %25 Edge ( I am still waiting MVVS 26cc engine to arrive ).

Regards.

Zafer

Nice looking plane Zafer. It should fly great with the OS .90. I fly a Shyshark Edge 540 with a Saito 1.00 at 8 lbs. I don't think I've saw that color scheme before. The ones I've seen are green and white. Where did you purchase yours from?

Hi Zippi,

"White & Green" ones are 140 size. this one is 60-90 size. I got it from a LHS.

I think O.S. will be just enough. I had nothing else. O.S. 120 FS would be better, I guess.

Regards.

Hi Zafer,

A guy in our club has one of those with the OS.91 FS and it flies great with that. I have the green & white one with an MVVS 1.60 glow, flies great and lands really slow. Superb K/E too.

It's good to see a bit of a Giles revival going on after all the Caps and Extras....

i fly mine with a os1.60 in it it fly great just watch the black strips on the pink they start to run and smear off a real pain i had a thunder tiger 1.20 in it but i was tired of the dead sticks the 1.60 runs great dont expect to much power from the 91 its a good size plane more closer to a 120 size i have my c.g. at 7mm forward of there forward c.g. and the plane still floats its not a great 3d plane but it flys great
