ok i bought a savage from my friend and never herd it run at all.
i took a chance, it had a bad OWB and he gave me a new one with it.
i had taken it all the way apart last night, cracked A-arm missing screws.
i got all that fixed today, and popped in a new glow plug and she fired up fast.
i was shocked cus she just sat there purring, and ran smooth for the whole tank.
i didn't even tune on her yet.
so do you guys think i should take it easy and try something like another break in or can i run the piss out of her now.

if he never ran the engine at all that means u need to break in the engine..

I would get a temp gauge and see how it runs. Do you know what model it is or what hop ups are on it? We want pictures...

no the motor wasn't new he gave me a new OWB with the truck.
he said he hed fun with the truck, and look how trashed the body is, and i cleaned it last night,
and there is still mud on it.
this thing sat for about a year and a half, thats why i was wondering if i should do another break in.
he can"t remember what nitro he ran in it so i am using 20% and an OS #8 plug.
all in all it runs strong for an old savage 25, i love it
