cleaning Trucks with Armor All ?
hey Guys
I was out cleaning the car today with some armor all wipes and was wondering would these be safe of RC cars? My Rustler is due for a cleaning and I usually use Simple Green but thought these things would work just as well[8D]
plus it would be easier to throw these in my toolbox when I head to the field[8D]
cheers guys

I use son of a gun tire cleaner it's the same as all of the other one's it just keep the tire soft and it does not dry out. I wash them with a wet rag first, and then apply the tire stuff and you are good to go. Tires cost so much that if you don't take care of them then you will be buying tire's more often then not.

I stopped using WD-40 as a cleaner because it is a solvent, so it causes plastic to become brittle and crack, and I had an A-arm break on me. I think I'll try Simple Green though.

spray it down with tire shine of your choice...let it sit a few mins and use a air hose and blow it clean/dry...will look like new

I only use Denatured Alchol Solvent,
its a little expencive but its safe of electronics.
I use this and an air compressor.

I put all the parts in an empty plasic milk jug, soak all the parts in dawn dish soap diluted with water for about an hour to get most of t dirt off, then empty the jug and put the parts back in it and spray the parts with armor all and let them sit in armor all for 15 minutes. I know it sounds like alot but believe me it turns the parts to like new shine. I hope that helps.

I use WD40, keeps them slick so that the dirt fly's off and softer too.
