Default m new to the electrics and

I am new to the electrics and want to convert my 1950s bebolt cruiser 65" and my L'l esquire 40" to electric. Any help,info or direction would be helpful. Thanks Bill

Both should make outstanding electrics, don't overpower them, use motor equal to the original engine. NOrm

I like to figure out what size motor based on the weight of the plane. For most trainers you can use around 80-100 watts per pound, warbirds 100-150 watts per pound, and 3D 150-200 watts per pound. It's worked well for me. As long as you don't go REAL big you should be fine with your motor selection. It's very hard to compare motors but if you use the total output of the motor in watts you can sort out the differences. Remember 1 HP = 745 watts which is helpful in converting some of the older models too.
