Default Access Hatch

Any special tips or tricks that I need to know.Wanting to cut one in a Sig Senior (ARF) in order to get to the fire wall to reinforce it and to fuel proof the back side and front of plane.Any suggestions would be helpful!!

Is it open from the radio compartment? If so try pouring some polyurethane in and swishing it around for about 10 minutes. Plug the holes in the firewall before you start. Then just unplug the holes and drain out the excess.

Thanks,Paul,Really appreciate your advice and the updates on your site.But I really would like to get access to the area behind the fire wall.

From the inside ! I've got 37/8 in from the fire wall to the 1st former.

I cut an access panel into the bottom of the fuselage just behind the firewall on my Senior. I think I have some pictures of it in my picture gallery. If not let me know and I will post it.
