Default Thinking about foam tires.

I've just blown yet another rubber slick right off of the rim.. I didn't know it was possible in touring cars! Well..

What are your experiences with various foam tires? My lhs has only told me that they don't grip very well unless they're on a prepared track or carpet, but they do last longer.. is there anything else I need to know? And a few brand names/and or compounds would really help me out.

Thanks for any input!

I Run BSR tires on my Pan Car. thy hook up un believable. i use Paragon FX II traction compound for traction. without it it doesnt hook up all that well. but as far as life? not too sure about that one. Ive never ran rubber tires before. Where do you plan on using this car? on pavement i'd use double blacks all the way around. my car has 4 different compound tires on it cause i race the carpet oval. LF/Cream, RF/Black, LR/White, RR/Gray. I use this cause it lasts a long time and hooks up great. But only if you plan on running the oval. roadcoarse and parkinglot bashing... go gray or black or double black all the way around.

Are grey, black, and double black just compounds, like m2/m3/pink etc in the offroad scene? (sorry, I'm new to the world of asphalt)

Just the parking lot and street. No carpet tracks anywhere near me..

You might want to take a look at Jaco Nitro shoes. They are specialy made for asphault racing, mainly for nitro touring cars, but work great for me on a TC3.
They come in diffrent compounds graded with a shore number, the lower the number the softer the tire. I run 35's on all 4 and they will last a full month of racing, thats about 12 5 minute races. They can be run longer, but by this time they are too small for my set up.

Do I just get all fronts? What are the rim offsets?
